<p>Add decorative design elements to cabochon settings with this 999 Fine Silver bezel wire. This bezel is ideal for custom bezels adding decorative elements to a wide variety of jewelry designs. This bezel wire solders and shapes very easily. It is strong and beautiful. Fine silver contains more pure silver than Sterling. Sterling contains 92.5% pure silver and fine silver contains 99.9% pure silver. Since Sterling has copper added to the alloy, this means that Sterling will tarnish over time and fine silver resists any tarnishing (unless you manually oxidize the wire for an antique look.) This wire is of a dead soft temper and should be handled carefully. Anneal as necessary. Temper or hardness is changeable by annealing or heat-hardening. Fine silver does not respond to heat-hardening. The harder the metal is after finishing your design, the brighter a finish it will take. Order 2 or more and receive a continuous length of wire when available. The wire is coiled and packaged in a reuseable plastic bag.</p>
